Kathy Sietos, Reiki Specialist
Throughout her life, Kathy Sietos has been a strong believer in alternative therapies and homeopathic remedies. Born of Greek ancestry, her parents brought with them to the United States many holistic traditions and herbal medicines that surrounded her upbringing. When Kathy's brother first introduces her to Reiki several years ago, she was recoetive to it. Aftre just a few sessions, she noticed a dramatic improvement in her overall wellbeing and theses results sparked her desire to learn more.
Since then, Kathy has completed her first/second level certifcation in Reiki Ryoho, and through continuous study and rigorous personal attunement, she is pursuing the level of mastery. Kathy's robust taining allows her to use the sacred Reiki symbols to promote relaxation and healing on all levels, calling upon energy in the universe to restore balance between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states of being. Through her advanced attunement, Kathy can also employ these sacred symbols to send distant healing to clients of all ages, at any time and in any place around the world.
Fueled by a strong passion to help people, Kathy spent several years in the medical profession working with adults with brain injuries.  Later, she turned her focus to helping underpriveleged children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.  As a behavior therapist, Kathy has been able to successfully intergrate her technical knowledge of human development, the human body and brain functions with the healing art of Reiki to bring about peace in an otherwise chaotic classroom environment/Saint Vincent Home.  With the purpose of promoting balance and harmony, Kathy attributes the use of Reiki in her classroom as an important factor in successfully transitoning the majority of her students back into the public school system.
In additon to Reiki, Kathy enjoys spending time in the mountains, practicing yoga and working in her garden.  She is a certified EMT and holds a Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in human Development and Family Studies.
